Reflection Connection

Reflecting on the Goodness of God

About Us

We are simply a group of Christians who saw a need and are trying to meet that need in the lives of Christians in our community.  This website is an extension of who we are in Him.  It is our desire that this site will encourage you, inspire you and teach you that God loves very much.  He desires that we spend time with Him, through His Word, through fellowship and through prayer.  If we will set aside time, He will speak to our hearts, direct our path, and help us to walk the path He has set before us.

Please take time, to sign up as a member, check out the site and pass the word around, to encourage others.  If you have any feedback, or desire more information, if you are not a Christian, and would like to  know how to become a Chrisitan, let us know.  You may contact us through the contact page.  God bless!

Have you ever felt like throwing in the towel? You know the pain of life is so intense it is like the boxer fighting Goliath who sees three of them. The towel seems to be the only answer.  I think we all have been in that ring and we will face stuff bigger than we are. We all have three real enemies that never relinquish.  They will take us out if we do not find help.  The old nature (called the flesh), the devil and the world‘s system are all enemies of our souls and without the fellowship of real Christians who have a vision of God’s Kingdom it is very easy to become discouraged.

He needed a friend.  His reputation that brought fear to the Christian community went before him. He had gone back home after a real encounter with Jesus. How would he ever be able to engage the church with such a past?  Joseph a man from Cyprus determined that this new convert would not lose heart so he traveled from Antioch to Tarsus to encourage Saul who would become Paul the Apostle.

We know Joseph by the nickname Barnabas.  Barnabas means encouragement. Barnabas brought Saul back to Antioch stood up for Saul before the church and even went on a missionary trip with him.  A large part of the New Testament was written by Paul.  We do not know what would have happened if Joseph had not made that trip but we do know that His action helped Paul get started.

We are committed to share the love of the Lord Jesus Christ.  He is the source of all courage.  As His love flows through members of the care group there is great encouragement. myspace graphic comments
